Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

The data controller is Olympus Productions di Antonucci Gabriele (VAT 09174030727, Italy). For any request about your personal data you can write to support@olympusmc.it or open a ticket on our Discord.

2. What data we collect

We only process the data needed to run the server and its related services:

• Game data — Minecraft nickname, UUID, IP address, game statistics, in-game chat messages and technical logs.
• Data you provide voluntarily — what you enter in our forms (feedback, staff applications): nickname, email if provided, and your answers; your Discord profile if you open a ticket or join our Discord server.
• Website browsing data — technical data collected automatically (IP, browser, pages visited) in web server logs.
• Purchase data — store purchases happen on an external platform with its own privacy notice; we only receive the purchase confirmation and the nickname to deliver the content to.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use your data to:

• Provide the game service (account, progress, rewards, purchase delivery) — performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Security and anti-abuse (bans, cheat prevention, chat moderation) — legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Feedback, applications and support — consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Compliance with legal obligations (tax, requests from authorities) — legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

4. How long we keep your data

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: game data while your account is active on the server; technical and moderation logs for as long as needed for service security; form answers for as long as needed to process them and deliver rewards; tax records for the terms required by law (10 years).

5. Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We only share it with the technical providers needed to run the service, acting under our instructions:

• Hosting providers for the game server and the website.
• Google LLC — for feedback and application forms (Google Forms).
• Discord Inc. — for the community and support tickets.
• The store platform — for purchases and payment processing.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers (e.g. Google, Discord) may process data in the United States or other non-EU countries. In these cases the transfer relies on European Commission adequacy decisions (e.g. the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 GDPR you have the right to:

• Access your data and obtain a copy.
• Request rectification or erasure ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
• Lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (garanteprivacy.it) or your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Our services are also aimed at young players. In Italy, consent-based processing is lawful from age 14; below that age, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required. If you are a parent and believe your child provided us personal data without your consent, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Users outside the European Economic Area

We apply GDPR standards to all our users, wherever they are: even if you connect from outside Europe you have the same access, rectification and erasure rights described above.

If you are a California resident (USA), under the CCPA/CPRA you additionally have the right to know what data we collect, request its deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by those laws.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes to our services or to the law. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date.
